A BLOKE chopping wood in his garden was stunned to see the face of Jesus Christ staring back at him from a tree trunk.
John Dickson, 43, noticed the strange apparition while he was chopping firewood yesterday.
The dad-of-two, from Morecambe, Lancashire, said: "I had my brother round and we were watching the football.
"When it was half-time my wife was moaning that she couldn't hang any clothes on the washing line so I thought I'd bite the bullet and get chopping.
"It wasn't until I stacked all the wood up that I spotted it.
"It totally freaked me out and I had to stop working.
"It was just there.
"I'm not even religious.
"I'll never be able to burn it otherwise I'll burn in hell.”
